The Principato in the glass.

Organic approach
Vineyards cultivated without compromise, in respect of the land and tradition.

The terroir
Calcareous and clayey soils on the Umbrian hills, celebrated since Etruscan-Roman times.

Quality, not quantity
Low yield per vine, rigorous selection, patient ageing.
Five varieties, one territory.
Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Canaiolo, Pinot Nero and Chardonnay: varieties chosen to enhance the historic vocation of these Umbrian hills, already celebrated in Etruscan-Roman times.
Reds
Sangiovese
The prince of Italian grape varieties. The backbone of our reds: intense ruby colour, elegant tannins, aromas of cherry and violet, lively acidity that ensures long ageing potential.
Montepulciano
A grape of great structure and colour. It contributes body, softness and notes of dark fruits and spices — the perfect companion to Sangiovese for building deep, persistent wines.
Canaiolo
The traditional Umbrian-Tuscan cultivar. It softens the blend, adds floral and fruity notes, rounds the tannins and lends elegance and drinkability.
Pinot Nero
The grape of elegance par excellence. Delicate and complex, it expresses aromas of small red fruits, fine spices and undergrowth, with silky tannins and great finesse.
Whites
Chardonnay
An international variety that finds its true dimension in Umbria: fresh aromas of citrus and white flowers, good acidity and structure for a characterful white wine.
From the vineyard to the bottle.
Careful vine management, selective harvest, winemaking in the cellar, slow ageing. No compromises.
Vineyard Care
Pruning, soil management and continuous attention to the health of the vines, to ensure healthy, quality grapes.
Harvest
By hand, at the optimal moment of ripeness. The grapes reach the cellar within a few hours of picking.
Selection
Only the finest bunches enter the cellar: harvested at the right degree of ripeness, whole and healthy.
Winemaking
Controlled fermentation to preserve aromas, structure and the identity of the territory in every vintage.
Ageing
The wines rest in the cellar for as long as necessary to develop complexity, balance and longevity.
Bottling
Only the finest batches enter our labels, bottled with care to preserve their quality over time.
